In the city of Chester, England there is a music festival held at the Bandstand by the River Dee over a period of weeks each summer. Due to COVID19 related guidance it was not possible to hold the festival in the summer of 2020, so Cheshire West and Chester in collaboration with the CH1 project decided to commission creative projects that could be undertaken within these guidelines. The song “Loved and Lost” was written, recorded and produced by Peter Simcoe (Simcoemedia) with Dorothy Bird adding her vocal talent. Two videos were created - above is the final submission to Chester Bandstand arts project to promote the Bandstand and the other is a 'placeholder' style video created for the Simcoemedia YouTube account.
